Modern Superstitions’ “Love That Beats My Heart” in feature film ‘Light Years’

The Modern Superstitions‘ song “Love That Beats My Heart” from their self-titled debut album (Last Gang Records) is featured in the indie feature Light Years  by award-winning director Maggie Kiley.

The film is a full-length realization of her short Some Boys Don’t Leave starring Jesse Eisenberg–which won Best Short at the Tribeca Film Festival–and follows the story of a heartbroken boy who navigates his way back to the girl of his dreams and on the way discovers surprising and unexpected truths. Stars Chris Lowell (The Help), Rose McIver (The Lovely Bones), Allison Janney, and Clark Gregg.
